    Avalanche Software ist ein amerikanischer Videospielentwickler und Tochterunternehmen von Warner Bros. Games mit Sitz in Salt Lake City, Utah.

    Es wurde im Oktober 1995 von vier Programmierern gegründet, die zuvor bei Sculptured Software tätig waren, darunter John Blackburn, der als Chief Executive Officer fungiert.

    Das Studio wurde im Mai 2005 von der Spieleabteilung der Walt Disney Company übernommen und verbrachte die nächsten zehn Jahre mit der Entwicklung von Disney-Titeln.

    Warner Bros. Games übernahm das Studio und eröffnete es im Januar 2017 wieder.
